LUKE OLSON

The MMA is a group of insignificant college students who want to make an impact in the world through steps of faith. It's through these simple steps of faith that we are given the privilege of watching mountains move. Rather than only talking about change, the MMA seeks to be a part of change firsthand. Through real life application of faith, you will discover that God is not impersonal, but cares for you deeply.

A spur can be used to gently motivate a horse, or it can be used to sharply motivate a horse. Hebrews says, "Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." We will be seeking to SPUR one another, motivate one another, encourage one another, and seek God together both humbly and sharply. Our hope is to cultivate an environment that is challenging to the seasoned believer and accessible to those new to Christianity.

Mixed Groups (married or single)

Solid Foundation

SUNDAY, 6:00 PM
CHRIS HARINGS
ctharings@gmail.com
952-200-5965

JOY HARINGS
jjharings@gmail.com
763-268-9362
Foundations are broken up into two categories, shallow and deep. What is your foundation? Is it shallow or deep? Will it be enough to support you during trials and testing?  Ephesians 2:19-22  tells us that as fellow believers and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus as the chief cornerstone, that we are being built together to become one in Christ. But what does this mean? How are we being built together to become one? In “Solid Foundation” we will dig deeper into what it means to be part of a redemptive community, an authentic, committed life changing Christian Community.

The Pit Crew

SUNDAY, 6:00 PM
WAYNE SNYDER
wayn.snyder@gmail.com
763-221-3888
(Men Only) Becoming a man after God’s heart is not always easy; there are many distractions and temptations that come to us on a daily basis. If your desire is to grow in your spiritual leadership, you have come to the right place. We will grow in the disciplines of reading God’s word on a daily basis, praying for fellow group members, and stepping out and sharing our faith in Christ with others. We will also learn the importance of accountability and purity. Becoming a spiritual leader can be overwhelming, but you have to take one step. That first step involves an act of faith, a commitment.

Thirsty

SUNDAY, 6:00 PM
SARAH SORIANO
sarahjosoriano@gmail.com
612-839-3663
(Women only) In Thirsty, we will study women in the Bible to learn about the characteristics God desires. We will work to cultivate those traits and grow in character, while teaching each other and holding each other accountable. We will listen to what the Lord has to say to us about being a woman who honors God in all stages of life. Only living water from the Lord can quench our thirst.

SINGLES GROUPS

Endurance

SUNDAY, 10:00 AM
KARL QUICKERT
karl@rockthechurch.com
612-720-0742
In 1914 a group of explorers boarded the ship Endurance and set out to cross the continent of Antarctica.  Soon the great expedition turned into the great survival as the ship got frozen in the pack ice.  Miraculously not a single member of the expedition was lost in their own 17 month endurance.  Despite obstacles, trials, setbacks, and discouragement, God expects us to endure and persevere in the Christian life based on his promise to us: "His faithful love endures forever."  This post-college small group exists to equip and support each member of the expedition to endure in living a life of faith.

The focus of our group is to put the word into action, challenge one another to grow in our spiritual walks, and build unity through prayer.  We will strive to serve in close community by banding together and "pressing on to reach the end of the race to receive the heavenly prize." Phil. 3:14

Therefore, honor God with your body." - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20/ What does it mean to live for something other than yourself? This small group will investigate what it means to live for the Kingdom of God on a daily basis, both as an individual and as a part of the body of Christ.
