House Church

spiritual family

A distinguishing component of the early church was its devotion to meeting in people’s homes for worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, and breaking of bread. That’s precisely what house churches are devoted to. It’s a community of people (three or four small groups) seeking to worship together, grow together, and be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Each house church is led by two or three faithful and established leaders and has a worship and teaching component. The aspect of meeting in homes brings greater intimacy and reinforces the fact that the church is our spiritual family.

Finding a house church

House churches build on the foundation of community set forth by small groups. Three or four groups are associated with each location. The best way to get involved in house church is to join a small group. Visit the small group page to learn more about groups.

can't join a small group?

If you are unable to join a small group, we'd love to have you at house church. There are five locations throughout the Twin Cities. They meet on the second and fourth Sundays of each month from 6-8pm with social time afterwards.  Contact the leaders of a house church for more information. Children are welcome at house church, though childcare is not provided.
